Yikes Cerb!!! Like I don't have enough to worry about! I first noticed it about 12 years ago. It was only on deceleration and going down hill. And barely discernible. Haven't heard it since. My newest worry is the two power steering lines going to cooler are both leaking. From where I cannot locate. The drips are located about a half inch back from where they connect to the cooler. Basically where the lines level out. I rag wrench the lines and a couple days later the drip is back. The short rubber hose is dry above the drip. The line that goes to the "T" is hard to tell since it has the sheath around it but the "T" is grimy. The steering gear box is above these two lines and is dry. This is why I don't sleep well..... :)

Not sure if those lines are like the lines at the bottom of the PS pump or not (someone verify) but if they are, there's an O-ring on each one. You may be able to fix by just replacing them.
But get some rest first :p

Thanks PrairieDog! These are the rubber lines from the cooler and they go up. This has been going on for about 12 months. Last night I added fluid for the first time since I have been checking this problem. The pickup hadn't been driven in the last 24 hours and the power steering fluid was right on the "Cold" add line so it took 12 months to use that little amount from full to add. I topped it off with Mopar ATF+4. Getting ready to tow the TT from ND to Niagara Falls, so I am worried about everything right now. This is the only issue I have her. So, about 4:00 AM I should be wide awake worrying about the non-existant problems on her...... My brother tells me to stop worrying, drop the plow, and go!
