I'm looking for OEM 1" OD hose clamps, the constant tension type. I can't seem to find any here in Helena Montana. Neither the stealer nor any of the parts houses carry 'em and they can't seem to get 'em. Thought I'd see if anyone could help direct me. I can find manufacturer via web searches but no retailers.

I haven't tried the local junk yard (auto recycler in the bigger cities) but maybe that should of been my first stop.

Any other ideas are appreciated.

Dodge uses the constant tension clamps on the heater hoses and radiator hoses. I'm looking for heater hose size. I prefer these type of clamps over the standard type that tighten with a screw driver.

Thanks for the P/N. The stealer will order 'em for me. They sure want me to use the aftermarket stuff though! They wonder why I'm trying to get a clamp that everyone throws away and replaces with a screw type.

hose clamp's

mtarcher1 I just took 2 off sunday and they are still sitting on the workbench, I'll send them to you if you want them:D Don Barr

All of a sudden my OEM constant tension clamp on the top radiator hose at the thermosat housing stated leaking. Temporarily I put the old reliable screw hose clamp out of my bag of stuff to stop the leak. Need to find a better solution though. But so far it is working. Not changed hoses and antifreeze last September and to to now to start the leak!!! Maybe should get the kind of clamp used on the turbo hoses only smaller.

While we are on the subject of the OEM style spring clamps. I Used to hate them. I recently bought a tool made for removing and installing them. The Tool has a 2-3 foot cable on it so you can reach any of the clamps easy. The bad side is the cost. From Snapon or equal run around $120 to $160... .

But now I love the clamps. :D

OEM Clamps...Thanks

Got the clamps in the mail. Just what I was looking for. Stealer called me the day before to tell me the ones I ordered were in also. I needed four so it worked out well... . Thanks again r rab1!

It was good to be able to tell the stealer that I could get 'em even if he couldn't. And then to come back to him and have him order by part number... which had him order something for me that he had said he couldn't get! Some of those guys are just plain unhelpful, the local guy has absolutely no credibility as a parts man.
