For those who only want to run the outboard low elements in low beam mode, attached is a schematic to pull that off with only 3 relays total, or 2 if you don’t want to run both elements in all bulbs in high beam mode. These circuits leave low beam on the factory headlight switch since the load is only 2 x 55w elements as compared to max factory configuration load of 2 x 65w in high beam. The fuse-holders between the relays and the inboard bulbs can be omitted if you don’t want the option of disabling the low elements when in high beam mode. For the visually challenged, I’ve split left & right sides into separate black & white drawings.
