I don't care for the way they did the rear fenders... looks like an oversized wheel flare to me. Reminds me of the first gen dually fenders.

I agree -- they took the easy way out for the rear fenders. Certain colors will look more cheesy than others. My guess is white won't look too good.

They don't even make the crease along the lower side follow into the fender flare. It's like they took a generic off the shelf item and then slapped it on there... . Needs better integration.

Looks like something Toyota would do.

The plus side is that if any 2500 SB owners want to upgrade, I'm sure those flares will be available for purchase... .

Just to make it easy for everyone:

Geez, this just keeps getting worse and worse. That's got to be the ugliest "dually" I've ever seen. Those flares are pitiful. I may never buy a newer body style truck at this rate.

Ummmm, I'll be needing part numbers and pricing for those fenders please.

Anybody know where I can get a full set of dually wheels and tires, oh and the front axle adaptor. My 04. 5 short bed quad cab is gonna get converted into a dually. !!!

I gotta admit, although I have never owned a dually, I like the currently style dually MUCH better. If I ever get a dually, I WANT it to have big hips, not some Bushwackers on steroids.

If I had to guess, they got the sissy flares because its a short bed and the current hips would probably look pretty stupid on a short bed. As somebody else said, they look like the first gen duallys. That's NOT a compliment btw!!

That's pretty funny. :-laf

You've got a good point here. I think that might be why they were forced to create this atrocity.

The problem for me is the crease. It dies where the flare hits the fender. That's going to look terrible. What a mistake. If the crease went into the flare, it wouldn't be as bad to me.

Maybe black or patriot blue would look better?... . I hope.

Or maybe some goodlooking bushwackers up front to balance out the look?

Gann,

Look closer, the crease does go into the fender then blends into a marker light on both the front and back!

You're right. But it's not pronouced enough and it doesn't go all the way to meet the crease on the fender. I can't explain it but something about it is disturbing to my eye.

I've seen Bushwackers that look more OEM than these... .

The 3rd picture that Gann posted doesn't look to be the same truck as the first two. The 3rd picture definitely shows that there are no crease lines in the rear fenders but it looks like there are on the first two pictures.

Fender creases will probably be a $400 option.
