Are The Pastor and I the only ones (with the exception of 1stGen4ever, who has one post up there) who are gonna add to the FAQ forum? We cant be the only ones willing and able to add to the list. We have guys (and, I'd assume, a gal now and then) joining every day, some who didnt even know the basics of diesel operation before joining, they just heard about the awsome longevity and sound of the Cummins, and bought one. Take a look at the questions up there, and if you have somethign to add, put it up. The Pastor has to review them, so you dont have to worry about making a fool of yourself by posting a "dumb" or redundant question or answer. I seriously doubt we have covered everything; there are guys here with WAYYY more experience and knowledge than I have.

Stepping off soap box now.

FAQ

Jump right in. The pastor does review and cull. I have submitted a couple that aren't on there. And what is posted is not precisely what I wrote. Don't be bashful about posting. And Daniel, there may be others who posted but the pastor has not been able to organize just yet.

On the other hand, there are only so many things on one truck. And a lot of the stuff does not go wrong. At least not on a constant basis. Well if the owner won't leave it alone when it is working right maybe there is a never ending work schedule.

As I have read the post for the last six months, I get the impression that there are not that many people who contribute at all in either forum. There may be less than one hundred people that have first gen trucks that know enough to post. Fact is, I wonder how many first genners are in TDR.

So jump in guys. The pastor will get it on asap.

TTT... .come on guys... are you all on valium here or what... ;):D

I mean, the stuff you add into the FAQ makes a load more work for me and if I can tackle that you can jump in with some FAQ's and answers can't ya...

Ok I'll go easy on some of you. I saw about 3 "new" names in there last night... ... Keep up the good work, Pastor. Good edit on my one post- I was in one of those moods where I couldnt say anything in less than 500 words, as opposed to my normal 350. "... hand out the funeral notices... . ":-laf

OK I'm not sure about this FAQ forum. What if I have a FAQ, but don't know the answer? Seems like I come up with good questions that are common. I know of a few that I'd like to ask but don't quite know the answers. Should I just post in the 1st gen forum if I dont know the answer or will Bob answer them for me? Bill

I was wondering about that, too. I dont really have any good question/ answer formatted stuff, but I can answer a few questions. 1stgen4ever (James) started a thread for FAQ questions where questions can be posted that we can answer, and then copy and paste to post(s) in the FAQ forum? Sounds good to me, anyway.

Hey that's a good question/thought guys.....

If you have a question that would make a good FAQ then post it in here. Others can answer it and then when it has come to rest, I'll just tweak and/or move it to the FAQ directory/forum for you...

Have at it guys... . try to remain product neutral and as factual as possible. If you found a product that has worked for you, say so, just don't advertise or cheerlead the thing...
