A week ago I developed an oil leak on my 02 24v at the back of engine between the head and block. Pulled the head, cleaned and checked the surfaces and reinstalled with new gaskets and head studs, ran the truck for 2 days and now have a leak at the front of the head as bad as the back... WTF. Any ideas as to what is wrong???

Are they noted for that? Had no other problems other than oil leakage, and no I did not check for warpage, pressed for time but bit me in the *** anyway.

i got a true cummins head set from a local dealer and ill have to check over the bolts when i get a chance , they all get 125 for the torque right at least thats what the arp instructions said

I've never installed studs but I (stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night) know folks that have, some of which are in the HP Diesel business and it's recommended to re-torque after a heat cycle and then again for two more. I'd hate to see you have to do another head gasket. Possibly you already re-torqued and didn't mention that?

Hope things seal up for you.
