With the S/B, it's really nice not hitting curbs when going around corners and getting into and around those tight parking lots. I never drove a S/B '01, but my '03 S/B truck handles mighty fine for a tall vehicle. The S/B feels like a much smaller truck (from my old '01 L/B), and it seems easier to back up a 5th wheel with it. I had a L/B '01 and miss the room in the box, especially with a tool box in the back and carrying an ATV. But tooling around town, the S/B gives the truck more of a large car feel, instead of a long pickup feel. The main reason I got the S/B was that the new L/B wouldn't fit in garage, otherwise I would have ordered a L/B. But I'm really glad I got the S/B. My biggest complaint about the '03's is that my rear tires are wearing out faster, 'cause it's much easier to burn the RUBBER!
