It parked in the next isle at Menards after I went in looks to be a normal exhuast pipe all but the the last 12" or so and about 10" dia.

I see it all the time here. Likely belongs to some 20 something kid that wants their truck to stand out. In some cases, these trucks have unfortunately become the next generation of ricers.

that faux 6 inch exhaust still isn't as bad as the boneheads who cut a hole in their hood and straight stack it right into the windshield.. then again I've seen a guy near where I live who has a 4wd DRW Ford that is slammed with low profile street tires on it.. lending much weight to the idea that common sense aint so common

Will I am 68 years young and my exhaust is a 5" TBE with a 6" tip. My summer tires are LT285/70r 17 126S Nitto Dura Grapplers. My fenders has the bush Wacker fender extension on them. The truck is a 2008 Ram Mega Cab and looks in good shape. Here is a pic.

I have always liked the look of those fender flares. However, around here those are generally hiding tons of rust.

I wasn't even looking at the tires or body rust just the 10" can stuck on the end of a regular pipe we have a lot of the 14" stacks coming up thru the beds of the trucks, around here only seen two with the hood stacks

Unlikely. It's a gasser. Tell tale sign is that small tail pipe. (Pipe before the fart can)
