I remember back in the 70's when I was younger. The old coggers didn't like my 71 Challenger with after market working hood scoup, dual carburetors, headers, Cherry Bomb glass packs, jacked up rear, go wing, L60 rear tires, ET slot aluminium wheels.

Yup, don't know what the hell kids are thinking, LOL.

I thought the idea behind a reverse "level" was to level the stance of the truck by lowering the rear, as opposed to the usual raising of the front?

Reverse leveling with the lower rear end just means they don't care about their fuel mileage because they're always going up hill. :-laf

That's quite a bit different than simply smacking on a ridiculous oversized tailpipe.

You actually made modifications to your car that increased HP and traction. The picture in the first post simply made it sound more obnoxious and look (objectively) ridiculous...

My point was we were COOL. Even though we think this truck looks ridiculous, for their time era they think it's COOL or whatever the slang is nodays.

Hey bigger is always better right?I'm now looking for a pair of 55 gal oil drums to make a set of stacks out of. Yea thats it One on each side of the bed ...... Lol.

What I’m seeing mostly around here now a days is the exhaust pipe coming over the rear axle and pointing down to the ground from there under the truck.

Before I realized they did that on purpose, I was wondering why the hell they’re driving around all the time in expensive trucks with broken exhaust pipes?

Then I see more of them, then I find out they’re for real.

Now I tell my friends, hey! There goes a limp noodle! :-laf:-laf:-laf

There's tons of idiots in my town with a 6" lift in front and nothing in back, 8"-10" exhaust tip, usually straight-piped, and wheels that are wider than the tires, which are low profile 24" most of the time.
Me and a friend at work put together a douche bag checklist for trucks, which, unfortunately, a lot of people here qualify for.

Of course, this is only my opinion, and folks are free to drive douche bag trucks if they want.

I just shake my head when I drive by in my mostly stock old man truck. (I'm only 37 by the way)

*Rant off*

Come on guy. Quit bashing the guys on the Cummins forum B. Those bro dozers are so cool with the flatbill Monster energy drink hats and white sunglasses. I really love their light bars too.......those things are so useful, like when your buddies are over and you need to light up the garage door in the cul-de-sac.

Edit: I almost forgot to mention that the bro dozers are all about safety because the always have their tow mirrors extended. They care about highway safety!

I myself also don't get tire/rims sticking way out from the side of a truck. Little tire poke with fender extensions, Maybe. Things are big enough without making them wider. A tip one size up from exhaust is fine but having a 10 inch tip on a 5 inch exhaust is just stupid. Just like a stack sticking out of hood covering the windshield with Smoke, soot and mung.

Appearance over function, boys.... The flat brim hat (mandatory sideways installation) is useless. The white sunglasses are cheap dollar store specials, so no UV protection. The exhaust tip is for show, and only makes it louder.... The wide wheels provide a false appearance of stability..... The lights give a misguided appearance of having a direction in life...... It all reminds me of a mating dance, somewhat like the bright colored birds of the Brazilian rain forest...... Only the brightest and loudest get noticed.

Meanwhile, any girl with a brain wouldn't be interested in anything those boys have to offer.... debt on a truck, lack of common sense, living with their mothers in a cul-de-sac.....

Sadly, they're becoming a norm in our society. And don't get me wrong, I like big tires like I like big b..... errrr.... other things.... But I like big tires and other things for play and work. But then, my trucks paid for, as well as my house.... and I actually take my truck offroad for work and play....

And I don't mind a little smoke.... but that coal rolling is dollar bills and noise blowing out the pipe. I prefer white smoke from tires if I'm gonna waste money....
