I need some help! My brake controller (Prodigy) is not actuating with my brake pedal. I tested the controller leads and am not getting a signal from the brake pedal. The controller does operate manually. Does anyone know if there is a fuse or relay ahead of the brake signal. and which one it would be. Your help would be appreciated! Left home with out my service manual :-(

Fuse for brake lights is A 20 amp fuse in the PDC under the hood and is # 5. It should be one of the ones on the left as you lean over the drivers side fender. If the truck brake lights are working that probably eliminates the fuse as being the problem. bg

My brake lights on the truck are working, just no signal to the brake controller

Might check the plug where the Prodigy plugs into the truck harness. If the wires from the Prodigy to truck are spliced, check the splice on the blue wire. bg

Check if there is a seperate circuit for the center mounted brake light. I found that the signal for my trailer brakes is from this circuit on my truck and it is a seperate circuit from the regular brake lights. The circuit was labeled "CHMSL" on the circuit breaker diagram on my truck.

When I check the center light, I found all brake lights not working. I thought they were working. Found a blown fuse on the brake circuit. Switched with the hazard fuse and now work. . thanks for all the help CASE CLOSED!!:) TJ
