While adding the 3rd gallon of oil during a change, I stopped long enough to start up and check for leaks before topping off. I decided to clean the grounds on my horn mounts to allow the oil to drain down. Well, I forgot that I had put the foil seal inside the cap before I put it back on the jug. When I took the cap off and started pouring, I noticed something go down the funnel. I looked in the cap and all but half of the foil seal was still there.
So before I start up again, will this be a problem. Or will it go up to the filter and stop. Would it plug the oil pickup? Even if I drain what I just put in, could I hope to get that out of the pan?
Thanks.
