Hello everyone, I have a couple of questions i would like to ask before purchasing a some rather spendy upgrades for my pickup. To date the power upgrades include a comp, upgraded banjos, straight exhaust, and bhaf. I plan on doing some other upgrades soon and would like everyone's opinion. I will be installing a southbend clutch, con ofe possibly or whichever is the recommended clutch for my end horsepower level. 4" exhaust, PDR HX40 or HX50, MegaCannon, and injectors. The questions I have are regarding choice of injectors and turbos. I am planning on DD SM or MM injectors. Are the MM injectors daily driveable or are they pretty much overkill? What turbo would you recommend at that power level and how much HP do you estimate my pickup would make with that setup, either SM or MM injectors and comp box? I would like to stay away from drugs for the time being, but eventually I may get a nitrous sysem. My main thing is I would like to just put a set of injectors in and leave them in, not switch them around very often. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Oh, and one other thing I almost forgot to ask, what upgrades would I need to do to the fuel system for those mods?

Shawn,

With what you have planned, if you haven't already, you might want to post this question down in the Competition forum.

SM's, Drag Comp and HX40 should put ya around 450. Which turbo depends on what you are planning to do with the truck.

As per DD's website SM's and MM's are race only and not streetable. I know of a few guys who argue that fact and I have a set of SM's on the bench... I hear they are fine on the street. I have no idea on the MM's but I bet they are at least a bit hard to drive without smoke.

I Think you'd find a majority of members

With mods like you're going to install, the HX40 would probably out run the HX50. The HX50 is just too big and you'd lose alot of bottom end performance, which is where our trucks make thier most power,on the bottom end. I personally think the DDIII's are a good match for the HX40. Enjoy the ride Merv
