Six gauges - that's good. I was worried about four. The DI Pricol standard 3W light draws 250mA so four gauges will draw about 1 A. Hopefully there's some overhead in the design for the dimmer circuit.

Look at the fuse that controls the dimmer circuit and I think that will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will take. .

Okay, what page in the service manual?



Looking at the circuit diagram, the dimmer signal from the pot is on an OR/BR wire. This looks like a control signal to the instrument cluster and not intended as an output for lamp driving.



OR/WT is not on the schematic and yet that's what I have hooked up to the gauge light.



Also the schematic shows various panel lamp drivers but no details as to what's inside the instrument cluster. Are they all independent or driven from a common source?
