P0113 IAT HIGH VOLTAGE

Replaced sensor twice to no avail. OBD reader says intake air temp is -40F. I live in the Mojave desert. Any ideas?

Still get -40 do you think there is an open or the PCM is bad?

Check the resistance of the wiring from the ECM to the sensor itself. Probably high resistance in it.

I doubt the pcm is bad. You have some harness checking to do.

He led all the harness found no problems. Disconnected the batteries, then unplugged connectors at PCM, they did not seem to be very tight. Applied dielectric silicone on connectors. Tightened them up reconnected batteries. Cleared codes and we seem to be good to go. Thank you. A new PCM would have fixed because of the reconnection but it definitely wasn’t necessary.

Yes it is reading true temps and it will pass smog!
