I keep getting the P0191 error. I have read many of the previous issues related to this error. I do not have any idling issues and no performance issues. Not sure if the fuel mileage is worse. I have a 2011 3500 Megacab SLT Outdoorsman, with around 100700miles. It is the year before DEF.

I have cleared the code and it comes back in about a week. I have run fuel cleaner and injecter cleaner too.
Any ideas?

2102 no DEF, 2013 and up DEF.

Fuel rail pressure, easiest thing is your fuel filter if you haven't changed it in a while. Next would be a fuel pressure sensor and it's associated wiring.

I'd look at the pressure sensor next then. Obviously if the truck is running good then it's probably just a sensor issue, if your rail pressure was truly low you'd know it.

Reboot ECM by disconnecting the batterys and put the plus wire to ground wire to discharge all capacitors.
Maybe it helps.

My truck has been at the dealer for 4 weeks now for the low pressure error code.

Today I called and was told star sent them a new software to install into the truck.

This is after they replaced everything they could think of including performing an egr cleaning.

luckily my service manager hasn’t charged me since the first repair attempt.

We shall see if this fixes the problem.

The engineers at Star got the entire data pack from my dealer, and then sent them the software.
