Just getting ready to install new Pac Brake & Air Springs with air tank. Any tips or suggestions for the installation of the combined use of the compressor & tank?

I had the Pac Brake on my '99 & really liked it.

Thanks for the info.

We installed a simple regulator so we can adjust the air bags when we change loads... since the air bags require a minimum of 5 psi... we also installed a 5psi back check valve we got at a local hose company... . the 5 psi back check keeps at least that amount of air... and if there is ever a line failure it will hold this pressure in the bags...

We do nothing more that pay attention on how the back of the truck looks... load the truck and/or trailer and than add air to the bags to bring the truck back level... .

Very simple and easy to do... on one of the trucks that we tow a lot with, this regulator is on the back of the truck so its easy to reach as the load changes... on my 05 that I tow my 5er with its under the dash... On the 5500 we installed a trailer leveling valve so its automatic... each is different but suits the needs of how the truck is used...

great idea on the check valve.

Did you tee off the tank to the Pac Brake Cylinder?

I have the dash mount dual monitor gauge--maybe this taks place of the regulator?

I sure like the idea of the regulator though!

Good info. I have a 2003 Chassis Cab model & was told the rear frame rails are different than a normal bed. Consequently, I have not found a supplier for rear air bags? ANYONE KNOW OF SUCH A SUPPLIER?
