I am attempting to install a painless wiring fuse block (non-waterproof). I have been searching for a good location to put it. so far, I have not found a location I really like. I know many of you have already gone through this. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

On my '01 I fabricated a plate and mounted it behind the plastic "knee panel" that is below the steering wheel. It fit on the right side very nicely... ... only have to remove a couple of trim screws to get to it... ... Has worked for me without any issues.

Like Silver Ratler I mounted mine under the knee panel. I attached it to a wire bundle with a couple of wire ties.

I will crawl under there in a couple of days when I have off. I just hope my posi-lok cable location doesn't cause a problem. If it is, It won't be a problem for long. I plan to remove it for a solid axle. Than you for all the replies.

Mine is almost exactly where CKelly1 put his. The rubber cover kept falling off and eventually dissapeared but I still have had zero problems with it even after 7 steam cleanings of the engine at the local truck wash.

I just wanted to update. I placed it to the left of the steering column on what I believe to be a clutch bracket. Since I have an auto, I figured it would be a good place. I took a picture to help show the location. Thank you all for your helpfull suggestions.
