Thought I would pass along a place where you can find trim panel retainers when you put it back together. These are the exact ones you need for you door panels. They have a whole bunch more to choose from if you need others.

I wanted to let you know that the clips I bought at Napa weren't fitting right. I ordered the clips in the above link on Monday, they were in the mailbox this morning. Thanks for the link.

Good link. When I took my door panels off to do my sound system, I had to go to 5 or 6 different parts stores to collect enough to replace the ones I broke.

what did you decide for your front grill. chrome, oem plastic chrome? just wondering. I have been meaning to call LMC I think they have a black molded plastic grill for non sport trucks. I'm getting tired of my painted over grill chipping.

Well, I ran into another money stash & decided to do the sport conversion after all. I am selling all of my chrome stuff. I have a new grille, new front bumper covers, very nice chrome bumpers. Anyone interested?

Got the call, he is gonna be in PA. tomorrow evening between 4-8pm. I gotta meet him in Cranberry, PA. to pick up the bed & door. I'm trying to get some guys to go with me to help load the bed. Can't seem to find anyone available. I hope the guy is feeling strong, I know I can lift MY side. LOL

Brings back great memories as a kid of helping my dad paint. Maybe one of these days i can convince him to help me paint my truck

Thanks man. My old man taught me to paint, we restored my 64 Impala SS when I was just 12 years old. I went to school for painting, graduated, then started painting cars in my dads garage. Shortly after, my Dad passed away & I realized that it was only a hobby with him & nothing more. I only do my own stuff now & take my good ole time because I get aggrevated that he isn't here helping. I still here his voice saying "Don't half--- it, take your time. ":-laf

Here are some pics of the new bed & door that I picked up last night. Not a spot of rust on either piece! Best part is that he included a bedliner, taillight & rust free tailgate. Look at the pics of the bottom of the bed, absolutely spotless even around the wheel tubs. The bed does have a scrape by the taillight, but very shallow & easy to repair. I'm excited!

Got it sprayed today. Oo. It is baking right now at 85*. It turned out great! I'll get some more pics when I pull it out into the sun. The bottom is still in primer because its getting black Line-x. I did get a run in the drivers door & I missed 2 very small dents, but I am very happy with the results. I was surprised that there isn't much dust, guess the jumper cables from my body to a ground rod I pounded into the fllor worked. :-laf
