We have a "smart" TV. It came loaded with a bunch of apps. Since we only have problems with Paramount, I just wondered if anyone else was having problems. I probably just need to pay for faster internet.
We started watching Yellowstone at the beginning and I was pretty excited about it, until all of the language and sex scenes. My mother in law quit halfway through the first episode and I didn't last much longer. We have just recently started watching it again, but I don't have any interest in going back to see the early episodes - so sometimes, I'm a little lost. I get a lot more enjoyment from watching Lonesome Dove and old westerns with John Wayne, et al.
Besides the rough language of modern shows, I wish they would try to make them more accurate to geography and events. In a recent Yellowstone episode, they were horseback, catching rustlers on the Milk River at the Canadian border and in just a little bit, they were in Billings. That's a good six hour trip without having to load a bunch of horses first. Then, they started seeing aborted buffalo calves in a pasture (brucellosis), so they shipped all of their cattle to Texas for the winter. Besides being illegal, they would have a pretty tough time crossing state lines without a brand inspection and health certificate. My wife says I'm nitpicky. I just prefer events depicted accurately.
