Hi All - I am hoping someone can verify or point me in the right direction for the part number for a replacement wheel for my 2014 Ram 3500 Laramie. One of my projects this summer is a front receiver hitch to move the spare tire up front when I have the truck camper on - both for ease of getting to the spare as well as move a hundred pounds from behind the back axle to the front. I'm going to try to pick up a single take off that matches my other rims, but having trouble narrowing down the part number. I "think" its:

1VQ87HWLAA with the gold inserts, which is what I want.

I'm 99% sure that 1VQ87GSAAA is the silver inserts (which are surprisingly easy to find - I guess I could try and paint it up - doesn't need to be a perfect match)

Any verification is appreciated.

This is what my 2015 Laramie 18" look like. I guess the Laramies in 2014 had different wheels? SNOKING

Hey guys - thanks for the replies and links. Snoking (love you truck by the way) had me scratching my head for a minute so I pulled the hard copy of the brochure I got when i bought my truck. Apparently the Laramies and the Longhorn Laramies do have different 18" wheels. And according to my brochure the monotone paint longhorns have the silver inserts and the 2 tone longhorns have the gold. Which helps explain why I've never found a good used take offs - I need to luck into someone pulling wheels off a 2 tone longhorn, but that interchange will make it easier - thx.

Check on EBay I found my wheels there and was able to get them for a good price, much better than the dealer wanted. Also I was able to get the lug nuts there as well.

I have bought/buy several sets of OE wheels off Craigslist (I do lots of tire testing). I don't have the part numbers but I will share the codes that Ram uses to identify them (from the brochures).

The more common 18" forged aluminum "WBJ" Bighorn/etc. and 18" Laramie "WBL" are plentiful, more of the latter, which I'm sure you have observed.

Because the wheels you are looking for are harder to find, I'd suggest buying the completed set when you find someone selling some at a reasonable price. Having a few spares isn't bad, maybe even two on the truck, one up front and one in the OE spot. Regardless, if the wheels are hard to find now, it won't be easier in 10 years if you should want or need another, and/or keep your trucks a long time. Plus, other than eBay, you're unlikely to find someone selling a set on CL that wants to sell a single wheel.

Funny you mention that. I was actually thinking the same thing. Plan to keep the truck for a while so a spare or two wouldn't hurt.
