Parting with my 07 dually deleted for some reason?

If it was a post basically advertising or announcing you're selling your truck then that's probably why it disappeared. There's a Classifieds section you can advertise it in.

Nowhere have I ever read that we, as paying members, cannot post something for sale here in the forums, where it gets viewed by many more people than in the classified section. No one contacted me at all about it being against the rules to post notification of something being for sale.

I've thought it would be nice to have a place to advertise stuff for sale and be able to discuss it (something the Classifieds don't offer). I know some other boards have forums specifically for classifieds for this reason, maybe we could suggest TDR do the same. But I can understand it not being allowed in the regular forums since they're for discussing the technical aspects of our trucks. . . you can imagine how many "For Sale" threads there would be if it was allowed.

I agree Vaughn. A thread where for sale items can be posted and discussed would be good. That is what I was trying to do with my post. I appreciate this place for all hte info here and because I may well have already sold it to another member that spotted my ad here in the forums.

FOR SALE Forum

Agree with the creation of a FOR SALE forum so as to discuss and talk about items that are for sale costing potentially 10's of thousands of dollars. Other diesel forums have this feature. .

As it is, we the users, are responsible for obeying the guidlines of a forum, it is a little harsh for moderators to just delete a post with no communication to the postee.

The TDR rocks and does not need to act in this matter...
