Mackin I did a quick review of your posts on here. Couldn't count how many times you used "Gents" and was overwelmed buy your politeness here. Couldn't be anymore two-faced with respect to Dodge here and as Moderator on thedieselplace.



How come you don't act that way (polite) on your own turf? The only thing I've tossed is my lunch.

well it sounds like the Dmax is just a play truck and probably is not capable of towing heavy at high HP levels. I sure am glad the mega cab came out.



As far as MAKIN is concerned, I personally dont know him and couldnt care. He has to have some thick skin by being here defending the Dmax like he does. I enjoy the banter and he seems to be receptive to it.



What I do know, is there are no Dmax's around here that can catch me and if you look up the dyno results for any of the St. louis area events they put down pretty good numbers around here. I've had a few autos get a jump on me, but i always run them down. I seriously, have never used full throttle on this truck past level 7 on the TST box. I'm skeert!



MACKIN, your truck looks nice and I know you are proud of it. but what you neglect to realize, is the versitility of the cummins. We can tow, we can race and we can put down high dyno numbers all from the same truck. granted I could strap on a bigger single turbo, some slightly bigger injectors (180's now) and put down even more HP, but then i'd be running wicked hot temps like you. I run out of RPM before I run hot on EGT's empty and I can tow 10K behind me at a pace most be hard pressed to keep up with empty. I'll see ya in the staging lanes in Indy or if need me to spot ya a handicap, i'll be towing 10K back home on I70 west of there.
