update!!
I decided to organize all my notes and summarize my observations in the table below. I would say at 5,000 feet elevation and 75 mph speed limits the cam has confidently gained a solid 1. 5 mpg. I would think if you were at lower elevations and areas with slower speed limits that the gain would be better.
For EGT testing, I have a route on the way home from work. There's an on-ramp from SR306 onto I80 eastbound that you have to make an uphill 110-degree right turn and then it's a 6% uphill climb for 0. 5 miles (measured by trip meter) until I get to the first 75 mph speed limit sign. When I make the turn I am always in 3rd gear, then upshift close to redline on each shift, and then I measure the "max EGT" at the speed limit sign and note my speed. With the cam I could make the turn in 4th gear too, but then it's just hot and smokey at the same resultant speed. Without the cam, 4th gear turns would be lugging the engine. When I get to the sign I let off on the peddle and settle back into cruise control at 75-78 mph.
>When I was stock, I would be at the sign at ~75-80 mph.
>Before the cam and with stacked boxes, I would be at the sign at ~85 mph and the EGT would be ~1500* and I would let off the throttle momentarily to let the EGT fall. If I didn't let off the throttle I would be probably close to 90 mph, but with a pegged EGT gauge.
>With the cam, injectors, and DD pressure box, I would be at the sign breaking 90 mph with the EGT just barely hitting 1400* and then the EGT would fall and stabilize at ~1150*
>I would never tow with the box turned up unless I had twins or a big single. For towing with my current HTB2 62/14 I think I would leave the box on boost fooling only and run with just the injector/cam combo (375 HP/714 TQ). That's more than enough power to tow at reasonable speeds!
My next update will be after this Friday. I made an appointment at Meridian Motorsports and I will dyno my Edge Juice/Attitude on (hopefully) all settings. The reason I say "hopefully" is because the Juice/Attitude on 60 HP with injectors fuels almost as hard as when I had a TST on with a smaller turbo

. Also, I should have a few tanks for some mileage info for cam+timing/duration box. Stay tuned!
