Piers sent this to me as part of a group of pictures on the 53 block cracks issue going on in another forum. It was referred to simply as, "A 6000rpm motor we are building. " I commented that the "laundry list" of mods must be amazing. His response was:
"As for a list..... it's about 20K long and that's before the turbo's, one of which, my cost was $3700. 00. It has forged pistons, balanced, billett cam at a little better than . 600 lift, custom pushrods and lifters, block machined out so the cam is sitting on roller bearings, stage 3 cyl. head, crank has been knifed, the pump flows over 1000 cc's of fuel & has no governor, nor AFC housing or cam plate, timing is 30 + degrees. We don't expect very much below 2800... . but from there to 6K she should pull pretty good
