Rt. 724 in Phoenixville

headed west at approximately 9:30ish on Saturday 11/22. It was a silver 2500 short bed with turn out stacks. Went right past Phoenix Truck Caps. I was out back runnen a ditch witch and could hear this truck over all the racket the ditch was making. :D

My Black 3500 was out front.

Anybody claim ownership?

That would of been me. I was on my to look at a used truck camper in birdsboro. You should of flagged me down to stop in for a chat. I am surprised I didn't see your truck. I am usually pretty observant of other diesels. I must not of had enough coffee in my system.

Kevin,

Your timing was incredible, I had just got done talking to my buddy. He was asking about the stack setup that I am going to put on my truck cause he'ed never saw one and wasn't sure how it would look. We had just finished and I started the ditch witch beast, and he was headed out to the mail box when you come crusen by  :D Oo. I'll never forget the look on his face. :--)

I was in the back (about 200 ft) off the road, and it would have been real easy to have missed my truck as it was inside the fence and partly hidden. Phoenix Truck Caps was just bought by 2 close friends and I have been spending most of my spare time helping them get things going. Stop in any time. we'll make sure your caffeine levels are correct. You too Will! (That goes for anybody).

Rt. 724 West of Phoenixville

Just west of the RT. 23 / 724 split, next to Eves Trucking.

Their big thing is Truck Caps but, they sell bed liners, soft covers Aluminum tool boxes, Custom Bumpers, Step Bars, Running Boards, Vent Visors, Bug Smackers, Mud Flaps, Lund Moon / Sun visors, lots of chrome and shiny aluminum, ect... They took the busness over less than 1 month ago and business has been brisk.

They want to increase their product line and are looking at other possibilities as well. Stop in any time Oo.

Paul

Its on 724. If you come off 422 its 7 miles down 724 on the right.

Or west of rt 113 bout a mile past the 23/724 split on the left.

White 3500 w/flames & stacks

Saw a white 3500 QC 4x4 with blue flames and turnout stacks the other day getting onto Route 119 south near Mount Pleasant.

I've seen it a few times before but have been unable to track it down.

Anyone know of this rig?

Andy

Paul, I will be heading back up to birdsboro later this week or maybe on the weekend. Let me know if your are going to be around, or i guess i can just look for your truck. I can also show you my new exhaust setup that allows me to choose between straight piped stacks, or a mufflered tailpipe, from a control in the cab.

I am always up for some diesel talk:D

Kevin

Should be there Saturday, I'll keep my truck out front. If you have a nextel give me a holler

Hope to see ya SaturdayOo.

Hey Paul,

looks like i started the sickness and Kevin is gonna help out!!!!I will admit stacks and smoke kicks butt!!!! See ya tomorrow for delivery.

Larry

Get the 4. 5" hole saw warmed up:D Paul, I am not completely sure I want to part with the DDII's the only reason being that my current supermental injectors are a little rude in the summer. Smoke is almost imposable to control when its hot out. That is why I have saved the II's, however going back wards in HP is just not in my nature! Actually I might end up selling the II's as well as the supermentals and settling on the III's for a more middle of the road injector.

Regardless, I am always up for helping a fellow member to enter the DARK SIDE!! :D

Happy turkey day!

The DARK SIDE

I never thought of it like that! But your right, I got the fever!!

:( I feel my self being sucked in to this hole of iniquity. The temptation is just too much. I'll burn in pickup truck hell.

GOT TO HAVE INJECTORS.

sorry, I'll go warm up the hole saw. you let me know if and when you want to part with the II's :D

Happy Thanksgiving

Saw a silver 3500 24v on Friday. He was traveling north on rt 144 through Centre county. Sounded good and was lifted with what looked like 19. 5 wheels and incredibly tall tires. I talking this thing was probably 18" - two feet taller than my truck. The tires had to be taller than 36". Didn't know if it belongs to anybody here or if anybody else has seen it.
