Hope nothing serious, I'll keep an eye out for you. I may swing by Kaufmans today before the kids soccer game. Not sure how long I can stay with the wife and kids asking "what are we doing?" etc HAHA

Mumia Abu Jamal, a "political prisoner" that shot a cop in cold blood in 1981 I believe. It was his gun that fired the shots etc... He's been on death row since 1983? or so. Check the link I have in my sig for more info

Air suspension

j-miller,

I see in your sig that you have Kelderman air ride front and back.

I just ordered mine from Kelderman, but don't have it yet. What do you think of it?

Let me know, I dying to find out how much it smooths out the bumps. Oo. Oo. Oo.

Fred

FParlee, the Keldermann system isn't too bad. It does ride smooth depends on how much air you put in the bags, I'm happy with them. My system I have for the rear is strictly air- ride, it's not made for load capacity and ride. I did see they have a anther kind of set-up for the load capacity which you replace the leaf springs for the air bag... ... ... ... John

j-miller,

I think I ordered the set-up you have. The one where the air bag attaches to the rear of the spring. And the factory spring stays in place. Was it hard to install? Please feed me some details, the anticipation is killin' me!Oo. Oo. Oo.

Fred , for the rear air -ride, the rear springs stay, the rear leaf spring mounts on the frame of the truck come off and stay off. The set-up come with a hitch with steel plates welded to the side of the hitch to accomidate the air bags mounted at the top. Then there is a sub-frame that gets attached to the hitch were the bottom of the air bags get bolted too and that sub-frame gets hooked up to the rear leaf springs. As for see how hard it is to put together ,I can't tell that,I had a local dealer install it for me... ... ..... John

j-miller,

Thanks for the info! I can't wait to try it out.

Where is Conestoga, and which local shop did the work?

Thanks,

Fred

Fred , I live below Columbia,Pa along the Susquehanna River and the shop that installed mine was Binkley & Hurst near Lititz,Pa. They are a Case-IH dealer and other farm equipment. They will order the stuff from Keldermann and install it but I opt to order direct from Keldermann directly because I did the front and rear air rides on both my trucks and wanted a good deal. See `ya later..... John

Just wanted to let all of you guys know that we are planing a TDR breakfast at the Exton Dinner on rte100 in Exton at approx 8:00am on Saturday march 20th. After breakfast we are going to move next door to the marchwood shopping center where my friend offered to let us use his parking lot as well as his 40x40 shop to have a little wrenching party. Not a bad way to celebrate the first day of spring. Everyone is invited! So far it sounds like we have 1 or 2 guys that want to install gauges on Saturday to their trucks. anyone else?

Kevin

anyone know how to post a link to the thread in the events section?

I'm in

Count me in! I've got a set of D25's and 4 Skyjacker Nitros that need to go on. Sound like fun? I could definitely use a hand getting them on (which is why they aren't on yet).

Seeing as how I don't know anybody that will be there, how will I know who you are? Is everybody going to be hanging out next to their trucks?

I drive a 99 Driftwood standard cab long bed 4x4 with stacks. Should be pretty hard to miss.

See ya then!

Dave

RabidRam... ... check out the other thread for the breakfast meet. Use the link above it worked ok for me. There is more information there. Hope to see ya there.

gettin' muddy

Guys,

Do any of you know of any 4-wheelin' spots anywhere around Exton to Morgantown (or between)? Nothing too serious... just lookin' to get muddy and have some fun.

TIA,

Dave

There is a spot here in Connellsville that I've been in several times. I'm not sure how far you are from here, but we are about 45 min north of Morgantown. Shoot me a pm if you are interested and I'll give you the specifics.

Justin

Rabid Ram, there used to be the pipeline behind TiMet above the morgantown industrial park (on welsh mountain) but now it borders PennWood farms, the 200 house yuppie development, and when they call and ***** about you, it's a $505 fine. 6 of my buddies got busted up there one night, just messin around, not doing any damage or making any real noise... Now, pretty much everywhere is private property...

Welcome aboard Rhino 50. I know I have seen your truck a few time's around Lancaster. Truck looks good.... ... ... ... ..... John
