I thought I share with you how I installed my Westach fuel pressure sending unit. It was a very easy install with parts from the hardware store.

I used a #3 thingy (don't know the name) that is available in the electrical dept of any hardware store. I had to drill out the hole for the fender bolt to go through.

I hope this will be of use for someone wanting to install it.

Thanks Charles!

Great pics, thanks for going to all the trouble. I will be installing Westach FP gauge shortly and this will help. Can I ask where did you find yours and are you happy with performance? Thanks Jim G.

Good pics. Just got my Westach gauge last night. Ordered it from Genos garage. Now all it needs to do is stop raining for one weekend so I can install it. Oo.

Haney--- Yea, that picture is where my pre-filter sender is connected. I have a second sender conected to the bottom of the fuel filter for a post-filter reading. Both my sender are mounted to the brake master cylinder. This where Steve St. Lauren mounted his in that article in the last TDR issue. I have had NO problems with the Westach setup. I would recomed having 2 senders with a switch. Very cool. You can check you fuel filter restriction any time.

Deezel 1, You're the man! I didn't know what that clamp was called. Anyway, it is a #3 and you should be able to buy it any hardware, Home Depot, or Lowes.

You will mount the conduit clamp using the existing fender bolt. You have to drill out the hole in the conduit clamp for the fender bolt to go through.

A cheap solution that works well.

It is good to be able to give something back to the members of the TDR. I've got so MUCH information about my truck and install tips. Sure make the TDR membership price dirt cheap for the benefits received.

RBSOB,

Jim, Welcome to the TDR! This setup works well. It is out of the way and there is no drilling or fabrication involved. I figured there should not be much vibration for the sender mounted there.

Thanks everyone else for the countless tips and hints I've received.

I'm getting ready to mount my Brolin CB mount soon too. Thanks a bunch Michael for a great product.
