SHobbs, 45 years ago, my friend had a Westinghouse Mosin Nagant. We were teenagers and did not know what we really had in hand. I remember that the machining and finish was outstanding. The blue was a real rust blue, not black. That rifle was very accurate. The only ammo available was Norma 7. 62X54R. It would have been a fine all around hunting rifle as well as a collectors piece. Those old Mosin Nagants were sold for a few bucks as junk! Now they can command several hundred dollars or more, depending on condition and any extras. GregH
