Off Roading Biggest tires for 2001 dually.

I had been putting this off for awhile only because I really dont like writing but I saw another thread about porting that got me thinking and I think it's the very least I can do.

I now have about 1000 miles on my PDR stage 2 O-ringed head with a . 010 gasket and studs and I am very happy with the results here is what I have seen.

Before head 3 runs on dyno all runs pegged 1600* pyro max rwhp 398. 9 (boy was I ******)

After head

first run on dyno around 1350* (I say around because I was so suprised to see it so low I didn't get a close enough look)

second run pyro right at 1400*

third run pyro right at 1450*

That made me happy to say the least, but a added bonus for me was finally breaking 400 rwhp. 431 to be exact.

I figure a good 200* drop in EGT's and 30 rwhp.

Thanks again Piers and hope to see ya again soon.

Jeff

I have a Piers Stage 2+ ported/polished/oringed head with a . 010 gasket with 12mm ARP studs. I did not get a chance to dyno, but I know it definatly improved the air flow. I dropped about 300* and it turned the black smoke ito a grey haze. With the twins on now my max pryo is 1100* I guess I need some more fuel now. Thanks Piers.

Since this is not exacatly going the way I thought it would I would like to start all over again. But, Nascar If I recall correctly back in Feb. man o man you sure did take care of me :D , , :-laf . No, come on guys we all know "THE PDR FAMILY" which many of us are a part of, by blood, sweat, tears or diesel is class act I just wanted to post some real world results that will hopefully help some people looking for a little EGT relief without Twins and truely say "Thank You". Jeff

P. S. I guess I should have said sooner I am a paying customer, I am not affiliated with PDR in any way other then the fact I concider Piers & Louise and the group they have assembled to help all of us, FRIENDS
