Happy Birthday Fireman Dave!!

Another Colorado "*******" bites the bullet

That's good info.

I'm an office type now, but I would not hesitate to get greasy again. I've been a gearhead my whole life and wouldn't mind busting my hump for a living... . a far cry from the button pushing I do now.

Gene: That's hilarious!

I'd have to loose some weight... . I've never seen a 'big-boned' pit crew member before... .

My 401k is doing okay, but that's subject to change. Heck, I've only been putting money into my 401k for one solid year. I'm 24, so I have some time before I'm @ retirement age.

I agree - by the time I'm ready to retire... . Social Security will be a joke. Unless they make some HUGE changes between now and then.

On edit: As far as an injury - unless I get a REALLY bad paper cut... or bad case of carpal tunnel (sp?)... I think I could be okay doing the same job I'm doing now.

Pretty much my whole adult life has been "Plan B". :-laf

My plant is now leaving for mexico next year. Will that now be plan C ?

I have an "Operating Engineers license" Red seal. It's the second highest you can get in this state. Not easy to get.

I have a current CDL... . all endorcements,except for the haz-mat.

I hope to go to school when I'm out of work. I'd like to go for the RN, but I think I'll end up being an LPN.

I know an RN that works 3 days a week 12 hours. She maked 70K.

I'm doing that now, but I work 180 days @12 hours to do it.
