Plastic mar on paint

:{Today at Wally World, a shopping cart rolled into my fender. Some of the plastic from the handle seems to have welded a streak of white across my red paint. Before I re-invent the wheel trying to clean it off, I thought I'd see if anyone had a way to remove it without damaging the paint.



Suggestions???

Rubbing compound. Take it right off.

Mother's claybar.

Buy a Mother's claybar kit. It should remove the streak and there's plenty to remove oxidation from the rest of the truck. The claybar is amazing.

Claybar should always be a first step to clean or remove anything from the paint. If that doesn't do it you work your way up the ladder to more aggressive cleaners.

Thanks guys, I'll give the clay bar a try.

The truck is garaged most of the time and the paint is in very good condition so I don't want to screw it up.
