Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Please help with HP rating for a 01?

Hello, my friend bought a 01 2500 QC Auto 4x4 and was wondering what the hp/torque ratings are. Anybody know this information. Thanks in advance.

235 BHP/460 lb-ft torque. This engine is alternately known at the ETC (Dodge option code) or SO (standard output, as opposed to HO, or high output).

On the front drivers side of the engine about half way down, there should be a sticker. It list several things to include the HP rating. Not sure about the torque though (I dont think that info. is on there). It could be covered in oil, missing or all scratched up though. I have seen a couple trucks that had engines from other years.



Somewhere else on the site there is a breakdown chart for years and trucks listing hp and tq. for the respective years. Someone posted it some time ago but now I cant find it.
