The air box just missing the MAF sensor , I will pick one up from Cummings in Spokane....
Here is a video showing how loud this beast is now.....

Is that turbo flutter or compressor surge? Kids took Video Hands never left the steering :)

Found On Road Dead what the heck ...... Luckily we are 1.25 hrs from Spokane , up in Sandpoint Idaho ... shipping 10 bucks as well.... oh wait since dodge decided to put metric and standard sizes on their rigs I had better rephrase that as 1.00 hours plus what ever 1/4 of an hour translates to in 10 ths ..... I don't know any good acronyms / synonyms ( I always get those mixed up) for DODGE...... For another unrelated remark ...... I will say this..... our Toyota Previa AWD has 350,000 miles with minimal time in my garage ... I have lost track of how many items I have replaced on our Volvos ....

Left messages with them , have not heard back I also found a place in AK , family run small shop that does OEM rebuilds and balancing.... G-Pop Shop
Purchase details
HE351CW Turbo, Remanufactured$695.00.... 200 core charge... talked with them on the phone and read reviews sounds a lot like the turbo resource guys in lake Havasu , one year warranty ...

Compressor stall or bark. The fueling is not able to support the exhaust flow due to rpm or fueling drop.

How much throttle did you have in it when that happened. Usually that happens to me on the OD shift with moderate to heavy throttle, or, if I lift under a heavy load.

Can't see the tach when it happens, that is what is important. Forget the speedo and concentrate on the tach. A big rpm drop will bark them if you have the fuel turned up.

I went with G-pop shop in Arkansas ... in house family business just do turbos had a Holset 2 on shelf OEM rebuild.... arrived yesterday 599.00 if core returned comes with solenoid. Very well done, no play and looks like a new OEM build. Followed instructions that came with turbo to ensure oil fills turbo prior to start up .... warm up 5 min.... I also replace the K and N set up back to stock with MAF between airbox and turbo.... Cannot believe the difference.... 75 percent noise reduction... 3 MPG added .... 60 to 65 MPH on flat rechecked by hand 20 to 21 MPG ... turbo flutter/compressor surge gone.... exhaust clean on idle/after trip/ and hard acceleration... no shutter on shut down either . On to finish the brakes :)
