My cel was on and I scanned it using our shop Snap-on scanner and the key cycle trick and both came up with po480 which is something to do with a cooling fan code. I cleared it three times and it came back on within 10 miles each time. I took to the dealer yesterday and they now have a lift pump ordered. I know the Snap-on scanner is not as Chrysler specific as the DRBIII but it has been useful for many shops for many years. My question is do any of you think that this code is related to the lift pump? Could there have been other codes not picked up by the Snap-on scanner? Or are they just fixing something they know warranty will pay for? Thanks for your input.

Doesn't make much sense to me either. At least it's warranty work - worse case you'll get it back and have to return to the dealer immediately because P0480 came back.
