Mine failed a month ago in Death Valley; that was fun towing it home with my Dad's Toyota FJ. About 4 years ago the factory lift pump failed, and I had the Dodge dealership install the retrofit version in-tank (oops; that was before I discovered TDR). Sooo, even though the 4-year-old in-tank LP was still pumping strong, I sprung for a full FASS 150gph double-filter unit and an Industrial Injection "Hot Rod" VP44. I had the bed removed to access the fuel tank more easily, and since I had the retro-fitted in-tank LP, I had to order the FASS fuel pick-up tube kit (Kit STK-1001).
I just got it back last week, and WOW, what a difference already! The FASS kit came with enough 1/2-inch fuel line to replace everything between the fuel tank & VP44, and back to the tank on the return line. Now I can't wait to install uprated injectors and a new turbo to take advantage of the "hot rod" setup!!
