Joe. . ya beat me to it... I have that same one in my files cause folks don't believe me when I tell'em to stay away from there with the trailers... I would not take a 25'er down this grade even with a exhust brake !

Some where in the smokies on the NC TN border I recall one said something along the lines of 316 Turns Next Eleven Miles give or take a few curves. :--)

Drivin out we hit that stretch of road around 3 AM in a CJ-7 and missed the warning sign! On the return trip we hit it in daylight following a Big rig that musta missed the sign cause he was hangin wheels off the shoulder and panickin on the CB. Lots of motorcycle buzzin round there.

We had one here where they put down the tape for "SCHOOL ZONE" they, the workers, misspelled it "SHCOOL ZONE" but it got corrected by the start of school.

Cruising the New York State Thruway east of Utica one day back around 1980. This van belonging to a meat packer or butcher shop or something passes me. The lettering on the back said: "You can't beat our meat".
