OK you diesel critters, I now have the ability to process your order using your credit card. You can call me to accomplish this or if you are comfortable with the concept, email the info. If I can I will save you some money, or if you have money to spare you can just pay extra #ad
Either way let's get a Power Edge in your truck soon. You never know when the menacing PSD's are gonna show up in your grill and wanna garnish you for serving as a smoked chicken dish. You know how they love cackle. That cackle is fowl if you ask me #ad

HVAC,
Forget smoke for a moment. How does the Power Edge compare on power output to the Powermax? Thanks, Terry

TerryTT, I have minimal time in trucks equipped with the PM2. From the dyno numbers I have seen and the little experience I have with the PM2 I have no doubt the Power Edge will signuficantly outperform the PM2. The dyno testing will tell for sure. From what I have heard, the Power Edge is on a par with the PM3. I would point out that it is superior in that it has the flexibility of 3 different programs that can be accessed at the push of a button. The other thing is the connector to tap the pump wire can't be beat.

HVAC,
Thanks for the quick comeback.
Can't wait to see your new dyno numbers.

HVAC;
This Power Edge sounds like a good ticket. I think that if they came out with a function to adjust Timing ala VA, I'd snap it up and ditch the VA. Any idea how much power the power edge and the DD3's would make? I think that the Power Edge, VA, and DD3's would be more than my auto transmission can take, even with the full BD treatment! An Allison may need to be considered.
Anyways, please get that critter on a Dyno!
Thanks you oh great corrupter of the innocent,

HVAC,
Does your Xperimental PE have the timing features? I'm wondering if that will have seperately adjustable settings too,or if it will be part of the fueling (power) selection. Have you heard of any upgrade program when the new PE is released. Damn, I haven't got the 1st one yet and I'm already thinking about the upgrade. I must have bombitis for sure.

Funny you should ask about timing... .

Edge is working on something to that effect but I don't know if I can give out any info just yet (I know a little bit).

Lets just say you won't need the VA... .

Lemmie talk with Brett and see if this info is for public view yet.

BigUgly - Eventually I will get to the that point PowerEdge, DDIII's, and the "other" Edge Product. When I dyno it I will let ya know hehe. And I have an automatic too but it will hold 400hp (my transmission guy feels that it will).

Also sometime in July I will have my truck dynoed stock, and then on each level setting of the PowerEdge and will share the info then.

Hi guys, just got back from the drag strip. I am happy to agree with Kat or whoever posted the VA timing advancement will be available from ME (Edge Products) soon #ad

It would appear that although I have touted the Blue Box as more powerful then the Power Edge, I may be ditching the Blue Box. We had a big time failure tonight and I am disgruntled with the Blue Box. I plan to go with the Power Edge for racing now after tonights experience. The BB just shut itself off when we hit 4th.

Big Ugly, I would guess the Power Edge would be worth 80 hp and add another 80 for the DD Stage III injectors and you would be at 360 hp to the ground. If you have an ETH you would have a bit more. You would raise heck with the auto IMO. BD tc and valve body minimum, possible further work on the pump too.

Thats me, back and forth, back and forth. Actually I left town to go fishing for the weekend, but I will be back in town on Tuesday and looking for the box. Now I have to find gauges. Just so you can all be jelous, I took a picture with five turbo diesels in it today... I am going to post it when I get back from fishing.

I have been in the wings watching and reading for about a month now wnd need to start asking some questions. I want to improve performance some, not quite to the extent ya'll are but some non-the-less. My first guess would be installing some monotring eq. , guages ect. now I hear about this box and I am very interested but concerned to what might happen to all the other stuff (trannie, clutch, and their mounts) how can I be assured this will stay in tact with some modifications?

<font color=blue>Gumma -

Fist off we need to know what year truck , stick? auto? etc...

Second off do you tow alot and what do YOU want out of any modifications... just more power?? You will have to decide jsut how far you wish to go. If you wanna be safe and sneaky then the VA box is handy. The PowerEdge would be the "next level" I think, its osmewhat "Stealthy" .

Gauges are always a plus. Give us more of an idea what your looking for and I am sure between HVAC and myself and the rest of the fine TDR members we can get ya on the right track.

I just got back from a test drive after I installed the Power Edge that I found on my front porch where the nice UPS person left it. YYEEEEEHHAAAAA!! The truck runs soooo much better. This is my first mod (besides losing the muffler and resonator and adding a straight through 3" muffler) and the truck runs the way I want it to now. All I think I will need for a long time is adding the Timing Module to piggyback with the fueling module that HVAC said is coming soon. Thanks HVAC for the good information on this great product. I don't think I will ever be satisfied with a stock 235/460 again!

What's up with the timing mod?

UPS showed up with my check from the VA, ordering the Edge now!! (Just in time for the cross country blast off)
