The timing module is a yet to be determined item. It is going to be a stand alone module that will live under the hood and tap into the timing gear cover. Prototypes are not available yet. Stay tuned for developments as they become available.

MM,
Consider putting an 'RV waste hose' between the stock airbox and the firewall. A nice way to test out the Pscotty positive pressure idea prior to investing in his kit. You can probably get away with a smaller hole for the test.
I read about this in another thread 'sorry scotty'.

david ,i have considered that , but i don't really want to hack up my firewall, i'm going to try the under the bumper ram air set up and cut a hole in the bottom of the stock air box .

Mopar,
I'm not using the Hot PE but With my set up I've yet to see anything hotter than 1300. That was WOT in 5th starting at 65 mph up to about 100. I kept it pinned until I hit 1300 deg and then let off. The truck coasted the last 5 mph to the 100 mph mark.

At the Buck the other week I pulled (on level 3) in 4WL in 3rd gear and couldn't load the engine enough ot get any hoter then 1000 deg.
Now that the clutch is holding I might try the hot # version just to see how hot it will be with a flashed ECM compaired to the VA you are using. .

Also a Centerforce clutch that is holding on by the hair on it's chiny chin chin... .

mike , must be the scotty air system , i can't use anything but level 1 without pinning my egt gauge , i may have to drop the cash on that cone filter and see what it will do for me , if anything , or maybe a PE programmed for use with the VA is a better way to go , the extra fueling has to be my problem . i will remove the VA and see what my temps get up to .

Is your PE set up 2,3,4 or 1,2, hot3?
Yesterday I ordered a new PE with a 2,3,4 setup. I'm going to give it a try and if it doesn't get too hot I'll keep it as is. Otherwise I'll have another one programed with a little less fuel.

I think the my ECM is what's keeping it cooler than your truck with the VA.
If i rember this right it doesn't add anymore fuel than stock above 2500 rpm. It also doesn't add fuel until it sees 2# of boost. The PE doesn't add fuel until 10# and stops adding more fuel at 30# of boost. At 10# of boost my ECM is adding a fair amount of fuel so when the PE kicks in it's almost like a 2 stoke engine coming on the pipe. It makes the car in front of you get reall close reall fast in 4th gear...

I just got my gauges installed and went out for a test drive. The truck is stock except for the PE. In level one I can get 1200 deg with out much problem. On level two I can get about 1300 and on level three at WOT I had to let off at 1425 deg... . but I was going over 100 mph at the time. My max boost, occured during the level 3 run, was 23 psi. I think once I get the waste gate disabled I will be able to use any level with out a problem.
