I emailed Diablosport and I asked them if the puck advances the timing a lot, or just a little? Is it more of a fueling box or timing box? Does it advance the timing at all when you are at full throttle? And they told me that it was just a fueling box. Is this correct? I thought I read on other websites that have the puck for sale that said it advances the timing and fueling? Does anyone know if the Diablosport people are correct?

thanks

Hey man i live up the street from those guys shop. They haven't been around that long maybe less than a year don't know much about that product. Driving by i never see any diesel trucks there only gas hot rods. Good luck man.

lol, I used to have one. It died when I pressure washed the engine!

A Power Puck is a timing box. It reacts like the Van Aaken, and Edge EZ.

It adds 25 Peak HP, and 60 HP at~1900 RPM.

It is not a fueling box. It does not "tap the wire".

WHoa, hold on a minute. The Edge EZ adds fuel through the can-bus and the computer. I think what he was asking is if it effect the timing like a EZ or if it is strictly fuel like the FMS Wizard. Well it is obviously not a conventional "fueling box" since it doesnt tap the fuel wire. I belive all the boxes that hook to the can-bus are effecting timing and fueling by playing with the timing and fueling curves.

let me clarify.

the VA, EZ, and Puck all do the same relative thing. They are all Plug in CAN Bus Modules. They all have to work within the pump comunication limit. They affect timing and a very small ammount of fuel.

Peak HP gain for all three is close to 25 RWHP.
