Specific Question,

Where is the screen???

I have read the other links on the Forum but I am still

confused...

Is the screen in the Pressure line Fitting ?

If I remove the pressure Line will I see the screen in the fitting, or Do I need to remove the regulator piston to get at the screen ?

OK, Found the screen ( reread all links, found picture )

Now, How do you clean the screen ???

It does not appear to be removable, from the small Nut...

Are you trying to clean the screen with it still in the pump? You should take it out and clean the other parts in there too. There is another link that tells you how to enlarge the orifice to get more volume.

While you are in there stretch the spring about an 1/8" and put Royal Purple Max-EZ fluid in it. Made a big difference in turning my 37s.

fyi on my 06 the plug that you remove and then pull apart to clean the screen do not exist. it a sealed/cast/pressed unit. it does not match the pics in the thread and since it a solid unit i didn't want to drill it w/ damaging the screen/plunge, or what ever

if any ideas that would be great.

The nut is 11mm. I had to put the body in a vice to hold it while removing the nut. When I did mine I tried just spraying it with brake cleaner, but that didn't clean all the gunk out completely, so I had to do the removal all over again. There is a little ball and spring in there, so be carful.
