2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Power steering pump....

I've noticed an oily residue on my pitman arm and steering box. Following the trail upward, it seems to be coming from my power steering pump. I changed to a synthetic power steering fluid several months ago. Could this be a problem? Any idea what's causing the leak? Thanks.

Vaccum pump is attached to the PS pump and is the likely suspect. Search under vaccum pump leak and you'll read for a week. HTH. .
