Power...Use It Wisely !

After installing the Edge EZ I have so much more power pulling my RV it is unreal. When passing you have to stay alert, as I can get to 75 mph in a flash. This weekend on a little 2 lane I passed some slower rigs and noticed as I pulled back in I was over 75 mph. (I was in no hurry) A few miles down the road I had a trailer tire explode at 60+ mph. Had this happened while passing at 75+ with my 17,200 lbs I would have had to replace the Drivers seat cushion. You can bet I will watch my speed a little closer in the future. Just a thought.

I just installed a VB and Edge Comp on mine. I have not towed yet but I can imagine what you are talking about.

Boy howdy!

It is amazing how easy it is to pass. I am using a stock clutch as a safety valve for my enthusiastic right foot. I have to constantly keep reminding myself that this 17,000+lbs thing doesn't stop in proportion to how well it goes. I keep thinking up ways to bomb both the power and handling but must remember this is no sportscar. I would love to move up to 400+hp but I don't want to endanger my family and others.



Something evil and immature comes over me when I see some fancy new RV up ahead starting to climb the next hill. Maybe it's time to slide the plate back some and concentrate on MPG.

Where's BCfast ?? he can tell you about too much power. . heheh

Right after installing a PE COMP he got pulled over twice within 15 minutes, but only issued one ticket,,, The second police officer felt sorry for him,, after BCfast showed him the ticket from less than 15 minutes prior, and let him go with only a warning.



You guys with Straight pipes and BOMBs,, watch out with tired P. O. 'd police officers who are trying to do paperwork on the side of the road,, LOL The Exhaust is really loud when you go from WOT and Peak Boost to zero throttle and really working the binders to bring your truck to a ''slower'' speed. Ask me how I know,, and I'll show you a $120 "Exhibition of Acceleration" ticket.

I can be behind an 18 wheeler running 65. I can pull out to pass and when I pull back in front of him, I am over 90 and it all happens faster than I can tell it.

Try "Improper Takeoff" and $88 Somebody should have told me he was hiding behind the corner. And then about a half and hour later a 88 in 55mph ticket, that was $150:--)
