Kidney Failure...Prayer Request Please

I found out yesterday that I am in nearly full kidney failure. They are currently functioning between 30%-40%. The doctors currently have no idea why they are failing as I have never been a drinker, smoker, drug user, etc. It looks like I will be having a biopsy next week, along with an undetermined length of stay in the hospital. Anyhow, if y'all would please keep me in your thoughts/prayers, that I might have the mental and physical strength to overcome whatever obstacles lie ahead.

I am the praying type, but don't do near enough of it. This will be a start. Situations like this kind of help put the old truck thing into proper perspective.

Thank you to everyone who has replied to this thread. I really needed the encouragement today, and your support has done the trick. I really feel as though this is an extended family of sorts, and it really means a lot to me.

My co-workers wife had a kidney transplant on Dec 16, '04. Her 26 yo daugher was the donor. Both are doing great.



I hope they can get everything figured out quickly, and if you need a need kindey or 2, that you'll find a match for a donor.
