O. K. guys, I need some help here. For a few days now my transmission (with 30k since rebuild) has been holding first for a bit no matter my pedal position. But, today it held first, sssslllliiiidddd ino 2nd, then fairly quick (and firm), went to 3rd, held, then O/D. The further down the pedal the more slip in second. I figure it's probably the solenoid. Yes, no, maybe? Question is, can these things be cleaned, or do they just crap out end of story? I was getting ready to pull my 13k 5th wheeler about 20 miles to my river camp this weekend but not now until I get this slip fixed. I can't afford to fry a transmission right now. Thanks in advance.

Youv'e got slightly bigger injectors. I know the Cummins' legendary torque output ain't no picnic with a stock engine. You could have all kinds of fun stuff goin' on in that thing. Valve body, bands, seals... . etc. Right guys?

That's what I was afraid of but, I only have about 2k on the 275s. I got them for better economy and pull the 5er a little better. It's not like I'm gonna win any races with just them so I don't even try. Anyone else have any ideas or should I start looking at selling some stock?
