Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Prime-Loc question

I just bought a Prime-Loc filter relocation kit for $25. 00 (couldn't resist). It's for a '96 Dodge Cummins, whereas my truck is a '97. I know the filter adapter is not correct for my truck, as the '96's used a spin-on filter and mine uses a cartridge. Can I replace my filter head with a '95 or '96 filter head so I can use the adapter in my kit? Or does Prime-Loc sell a filter head for the '97 separately? What do the '97 adapters look like?

When I bought my reloction kit it had everything in it to relocate the filter except the fuel filter itself and the water in fuel contact and you generally buy them at the same time. Evidently you did not get the entire kit. I do not know where you can get them either. Maybe a call to Geno's might resolve your shortages.

I have a kit for my 97 (bought direclty from Prime-loc or whoever their parent compnay is) that I haven't installed yet, if you need some pictures of the pieces to compare, let me know.

Yes The 94-96 filter head will bolt directly in place of the 97 style. You will need the head and threaded stud ( the one the filter screws onto ) Shadrach
