Has anyone tried or seen these headlight assemblies?

They are really different looking.

I bought the ones for the 03 up they look good but the lamps are typical Tiawan stuff. I will add this from a thread I did a while back

My lights suck!

Did I read correctly that you added HID to this assembly? Sounds great, because I like the european look of the light but was leary of the actual light output.



How did the retrofit workout? Was it a direct HID bulb replacement in the existing projector housing along with the needed ballasts, or did you change out the entire projector assembly?



What type of wire and relay upgrade was used if you recall? All 4 lights on with high beams or just 9005's, etc.



Thanks for the heads up as I have been looking at the sport truck upgrade for my 2nd gen. or an HID retrofit of some type.

I really like thise, have been watching them for a while. I am just waiting for the price to go down like they have on the 3rd gen headlight assy. I talked with a supplier and since they just came out a minimum price right now is 230 US but he says within 6 months it shoud be in the 175 US range. That is when I will buy

I was looking at these also so I emailed a couple of ebayers who purchased these. They both said they fit good but they also mentioned that the wiring was poor. They sounded like they fixed the problem some how, but didn't elaborate. One problem was that the guys bright light indicator was always on with these. The other guy just said the wiring wasn't very good.

None the less I like them and If they fit good at a reasonable price, retrofitting some wiring wouldn't be a problem.

I guess you are asking me. So here it is , I am waitng for Brite box to custom make me a box so when hi's are on everything lights, plus no lamp out indicator , should be a great improvement over the stock. Send me your email addres and I will send pics of the set up
