My friends newly installed South Bend heavy duty adjustable slave cylinder assembly is making a popping sound when pushed in, (at least that is where it sounds like its coming from).

The truck is a 01 HO NV5600 truck. Anyone out there ever encounter a noise like this. What about the brake/clutch pivot point?. Could it be coming from a worn bushing where the clutch pedal swings?. He's tried lubing it with silicone but no luck.

The peeps at south bend have offered to send a new one at no charge, and thats cool if we knew thats what the sound is coming from (5 hours to install).
