I have a '97 2500 with an automatic. It is a California engine that had an EGR set-up, though the EGR manifold has been replaced by a 49-state manifold. I'm very interested in buying a torque plate to increase horsepower and torque; TST's website shows that California engines MAY NOT be modified with this plate. Does this mean "may not" (as in "you're not supposed to, but it will work"), or "can not" (as in "the plate cannot not be physically attached to the injector pump"). Thanks!
