Question: iPod Intergration W/ REC Radio

I am trying to install a PAC iPAC-CHY (iPod integration device) in my 2006 Ram Mega Cab with REC radio and VES. The instructions mention that I will need to disable the VES but does not provide any information how to do it. Anyone done this?

Little late chiming on here... ... I have been looking into it. I am thinking that if you have uconnect, you might be able to plug in this device here since it has an extra port... maybe for satellite? I was going to call the people that make that device. I want to do exactly what you are doing but not any time soon. I have a VES and Uconnect to install and right now I can use both and not lose any functionality.
Researching the best interface now.

I heard the Chrysler did make one a one time but not anymore.
