Question on a Truck

I have found an 85 Ram Crew Cab 4x4. It has a v-8, but in the ad it's not listing what size it is. What is the most likely size this motor is?

My guess would be a 318.

Thats what I was thinking too, but I wasn't sure if they put that motor in a one ton.

It could be a 318 or a 360.



To find the size look below the left side cylinder head (drive side). On the front of the block. There is a small machined pad there. The engine size is stamped in it.

Being a 1T, my guess would be a 360.

I'm guessing this truck also has the Dana 60 front and Dana 70 rear as well, or am I wrong on this?

I believe so. They used the 70 on the dually trucks (rear) 'til the '94 model change also.

it will have a 60 front and back

I know the '82 Ford F-250 HD I used to have, had a pair of 60s on it.
